Dad Thai is an authentic Thai restaurant inspired by traditional street food, bold flavors, and recipes passed down through generations. The objective of this project was to create a character-driven logo that feels warm, bold, and deeply rooted in Thai culture, while remaining modern and memorable.

Concept & Story

At the heart of the identity is a “Dad” character, symbolizing experience, trust, and mastery in cooking. The concept reflects a kitchen where flavors are perfected over time, food made with knowledge, care, and tradition.

This character-led approach gives the brand a human personality, making it approachable, memorable, and emotionally engaging.

Bold Mustache

Symbolizes experience, mastery, and the personality of a generational “Dad” figure.

Traditional Thai Hat

Represents cultural roots, authenticity, and connection to Thailand’s culinary heritage.

Thai Chili

Adds energy, heat, and flavor, reflecting the bold and lively character of Thai cuisine.
